This is what honor and integrity looks like.
President Zelensky: "We are facing one of the most dangerous periods in Ukrainian history, a choice between losing our dignity and freedom and losing US support. We choose dignity. My answer is my oath of office. I did not betray Ukraine in Feb 2022 and we won’t betray in now."

Well color me not surprised. We all knew something like this was going to happen when the eight Dems caved. Will they stand on this issue? #cave #democrats @schumer.senate.gov

We need to help with this. Stop using the labels. Call out the labeling that does not help.
Left vs right. Progressive vs Moderate.

The labels are bullshit.

All that matters is this:

Are you gonna fight for the people when it matters, or are you gonna cave?

“..within that last appropriation is a measure that allows the (8) GOP senators whose phone logs were seized during former special counsel Jack Smith’s investigation of the attack on the U.S. Capitol on Jan 6 2021, to sue the government for up to $500,000 apiece.” open.substack.com/pub/heatherc...

Democrats cleaned up the GOP mess
The GOP bragged they’d never negotiate — that they didn’t need Democrats.

Then they shut down the government, threw parties at Mar-a-Lago, and kept Congress on vacation while Americans missed paychecks.

Polls were turning on them.

Republicans Made This Mess — Democrats Just Cleaned It Up for Them
While Republicans partied at Mar-a-Lago and cashed shutdown paychecks, Democrats gave them an escape hatch.

"utter failure of political instinct". Fact.
How is it even possible to so completely misread moment? After Nov 4th clear verdicts, immediate Senate Democrats capitulation is beyond weak—it's political malpractice😡

Nov 4th voters message was 'deafening'. 8 Senate Democrats responded with utter failure of political instinct

8 Senate Democrats sided with Trump and Republican fascists in throwing 15 million Americans off Medicaid and Obamacare:

Dick Durbin (IL), Maggie Hassan (NH), Tim Kaine (VA), Angus King (I-ME), Cortez Masto (NV), Jeanne Shaheen (NH), Jacky Rosen (NV), John Fetterman (PA).

I wonder how people will react when they realize the ACA is dead. The folks here think it’s getting their money away from big insurance and prices will drop significantly. #cave #ACA

There is no value in caving in exchange for a promised vote.

1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

Such strange wording @washingtonpost.com We all watched the "fell asleep" video. It didn't require "analysis." He didn't seem to fight sleep; he fell asleep. We all saw it. 3rd Para: "..spent nearly 20 minutes APPARENTLY battling to keep his eyes open." Yeah, "apparently".....

So the administration that says it cares about people tries to punish into submission by withholding food and home heat. www.npr.org/2025/11/06/n...
The government shutdown is delaying an assistance program families use to heat homes
The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program, or LIHEAP, helps about 6 million U.S. households pay energy bills, buy fuel, or fix broken heaters. The shutdown has stalled funds.

Truth
Remind people of this fact every fucking day.
Beshear: Let me be clear. The president has both the funding and the authority to fund snap during a shutdown. In fact, every other president in every other shutdown has done so. People going hungry in this instance is a choice that this president has made.
