this is the stupidest, most first-world problem to complain about but...
my thermos is *too* effective.
I poured hot coffee into it at 8:30, and now at noon I open it and it's still too hot to drink without burning myself. like, A+ job on the heat retention but I just want to consume my caffeine 😩

it is a vet show so cw for ill and injured animals, but it’s very not sensationalized. the vets clearly care about the critters and sometimes your heart needs to watch a newborn lamb stumbling around or a little girl ecstatic that her guinea pig is okay

the world is A Lot right now: if you need some calm feel good content on your screen, can I recommend The Highland Vet? it’s a show about the vet practice in the northernmost town in Scotland and it’s delightful. everyone is kind, the music is nice, the narration is calm, the animals are adorable.

I wrote my senior university thesis on High School Musical and the rise of tween music right around this time, and oh man the number of boxes of this cereal given to me as graduation presents meant I ate it for a year afterwards.
