Been thinking this morning about how if you're a US freelancer and you haven't increased your rates by about 6% since June 2025, you're taking a pay cut.

If you're in the western hemisphere celebrating the feast holiday TM today I'd like for you to at least do some sort of land acknowledgement, on your own time :
Doesn't have to be corny just look up information about what stolen land you're on and make an offering or say a few words before dinner.

I really hate asking this, esp before the holiday, but I’m having an emergency. My filling broke and I have a painful abscess that needs immediate care. I don’t have dental insurance and could really use a hand. I’m so sorry to ask. I can barely eat or sleep. #mutualaid
