i cannot tell you how much i love the dancing frog. frog is all of us. frog is none of us. i send frog to my old coworkers when they ask "so how are things in portland." the world is absurd and horrific. be a dancing frog in the face of fascism.

like I want to be clear that there is real danger in demonstration

but... the reason you see a dancing frog generating a real life force field against armed cronies is because deep down in their bones, regimes know there are more dancing frogs than there are fascists.

the fed constantly being like "the economy is solid!"; meanwhile i know at least 10 people who got laid off last week. literally the first 3 posts on my linkedin feed are about people who lost their jobs. i want to scream into a bag.

In a surprising twist, my massive health-industry company's insurance does not work at Walgreens. Which is not a thing I even CONSIDERED checking in advance. Shot attempt 1 scuttled; shot attempt 2 this afternoon at CVS. Boy I sure do love this low-barrier access to COVID prevention!

what's it like to be housing-secure. what's it like to not worry about rising rents, climate disaster, mortgage payments, landlord whimsy. does anybody even experience this anymore. what's it like not to carry a psychic burden of perpetual fear. housing security, who is she, we don't know her.

even if i wasn't viciously opposed to it, there's literally no way to add it to the majority of my tasks (yet, knock on wood) so i feel like i'm being forced to sit through a constant sales pitch for shoes when i have flippers for feet. it's just a waste of an hour on so many levels.
