Commissioned this beautiful illustration of our wedding from the lovely @imgdist.bsky.social 🥹
Illustration of Joey and Michael amidst a garden of greenery and pink flowers, wind blowing through their hair. Michael is wearing a blue suit and Joey a cream smoking jacket. Joey’s hand rests on Michael’s chest. They are both smiling with their eyes closed.

Picked up a pristine copy of Hustler Hard Drive Issue 1, the copy I scanned before was pretty battered so it’s nice to see it in its prime!

I thought something seemed off about the the image posted below: it's a photo that's been edited and colorized by AI. Please don't do that.

Sadly didn’t win, final bid was 2600JPY over my absolute limit. Thank you to all who donated nonetheless, the funds will be going towards other auctions 😞

There's a full set of Game Clash up for auction I would absolutely love to nab, issues are very hard to come by. If you are interested in helping clinch it, any contributions would help tremendously!

The saddest thing about this is that Dyer is a veteran publisher; he's definitely 100% aware that this book isn't up to their usual standard. Defending this one bad book at a cost to all their other authors is a bizarre hill to die on and not one he would have chosen if he wasn't panicking.

The URLs at the bottom are no longer online, of course, but the Internet Archive has snapshots and...

The first one is "John Turner's Data Den", which hosts the original artwork shown in this photo (attached to this post.)

And the second is for @michelelight.bsky.social's website!
"Ripe Ones" by James Bender, circa 2000.
