Película "de despachos" que se puede ver en casa tranquilamente. Todos lo referentes imaginables del cine de la guerra fría y el peligro nuclear. Estructura narrativa en tres partes desde tres ángulos (que no puntos de vista) con final previsible. Tanta cara conocida que Kaitlyn Dever es un cameo.

La traducción es un completo desastre. Llena de errores, palabras repetidas, faltas ortográficas, diálogos entre dos personajes cuyos bocadillos están cruzados y pertenecen al otro. Un absoluto espanto. No recuerdo haber leído algo sin revisar así en mi vida.

El arranque no me estaba entusiasmando, pero cuando entra en materia hace cosas impactantes. Lástima que lo que les hace Cerebro no dure más. Imagino que Waid tenía una trama demasiado amplia y diversa. Con el arte tengo más problemas. De esos dibujantes que todos tiene el mismo rostro. Buf.

En esos casos, aplico el dilema de las gemelas. Porque lo viví. Y no necesitaba ni cero coma para saber cuál era por la que estaba pillado. Lo llevas dentro. Y cuando hacen eso en la ficción, tengo problemas de suspensión de incredulidad. Y pienso que sí, que lo trasladan a lo puramente físico.

Estoy enganchado a cámaras que transmiten 24 horas en directo desde parques naturales. Gracias a la de Kenia, he descubierto que las cebras son lo peor. Muy bonitas, pero lo peor. Es una charca y TODOS lo animales beben desde la orilla, respetuosamente. Las cebras se meten dentro, cagan y se cocean.

My German grandmother, a war refugee, emigrated to Chicago. She learned how to speak English watching WGN.

When I visited we’d watch WGN every night. Never thought I’d see one of its producers brutalized & arrested by masked US govt thugs.

Creo que es la que más me ha gustado de las tres. Creo. Hay algo de historia al principio...y es cuando me he aburrido. Luego...todo acción, diseño de producción espectacular y Nine Inch Nails. Villanos de los que quieres que acaben mal. Y, sobre todo, tremendo el duende de Greta Lee. Es su momento.
