South Korea and Japan both have systems that mix private and public healthcare. It works because the government keeps the for-profits on a tight leash.

I really liked using my junk cameras: Holga 120WPC and Holga 135. But even back then film was edging into "costs too damned much" territory and a screw up was basically a cup of coffee you could have had instead.
Still, fun stuff.

The DJ booth at CKDU in Halifax was set up pretty similarly to this. A cassette and CD player were balanced ontop of the tape rack to keep up with the times. Mic windsock smelled like death.
I later learned real DJs are basically podcasters with a terrible joke book from corporate to follow.

Looking at the photos from my little walkabout yesterday my old Canon 550D is focusing in front of the subject.
That's fine if I'm on settings with a deep DoF but in low light it's an image killer. I might have to switch to manual focus and hope my eyes are up to the task.
Or...
