Quick thoughts about Scarlet at #TIFF50 this evening.

- Biggest, grandest epic anime film Hosoda has ever worked on.
- Beautiful sceneries and CG work.
- 1st act goes by fast. Really intense, raw, and dark scenes interspersed.
- Mana Ashida’s performance is spectacular.
