At age 31 years ~331 days, Andy Robertson would become our ~27th oldest incoming transfer.

Here’s a list from the last 20 or so years, ordered by date. The # column indicates their age ranking. A prize for anyone who can guess #1!

Somewhat inspired by Alasdair's article, I decided to give Numbers a makeover and have it tell the story of squad numbers at Spurs a little bit better. #COYS thfcdb.com/numbers

I've just added a way to show the league table by date for the Premier League era.

🎯 My daily quiz is nearly ready! 7 categories and 1 individually curated quiz per day. £1/month or £10/year to help cover costs associated with building and running my site. With enough take up, I plan to add prizes for the highest scorers and best players.

One thing I've been thinking about as Spurs head into crisis once more is the idea of mental health vs supporting your team. These days, with a justifiably strong focus on mental health, the idea of putting yourself through something that makes you miserable feels irrational.

Signing a soon-to-be-out-of-contract forward from the team sitting 22nd in the First Division to solve our goalscoring problems. Classic. news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/fo...

2026 is nearly here in Japan, so I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who's browsed and shared my site this year. It's been great seeing the numbers grow as people get use out of the database.

Happy New Year! Let's hope 2026 brings some more glory, glory nights for Spurs 🏆 #COYS

Spurs Women with another good, hard-fought win. What a pass from Drew Spence to Olivia Holdt...beautiful goal, and who doesn't love a 95th minute winner! But thoughts with Jess Naz, who looks to have suffered a serious knee injury -- hopefully not another ACL 😔 #COYS

Unsurprisingly, we haven't had many 5-3 defeats over the years. Have to go back to 2001 for the last one......that Man Utd game 🫠

Unforgivable performance and result.

Sarr did the same vs them in pre-season. In lieu of creating actual chances, why don’t we just keep shooting from halfway?

I find it really hard to understand how we can’t even sell out Brisbane Road for a North London Derby. #COYS

On this Spurs day in…1991
1-0 down at home to Luton midway through the 2nd half. Crowd restless and then two things happen:
1. The floodlights fail and the game is stopped
2. Scott Houghton - out young winger comes on to make his name!

The only we've faced FC København before today was in a pre-season friendly in July 2004, played in Sweden. Dean Richards and Jermain Defoe the scorers in a 2-2 draw #COYS thfcdb.com/matches/2004...

This is the last game played on the 31st October, had to go back to 2018 to find it. The League Cup game against West Ham at the London Stadium.

We won 3-1 but how many of the starters can you name?

Find it really strange how many people are happy we lost that. We’re now down to one winnable competition.

On this day in 2012, Spurs travelled to Saint Mary's to take in Southampton and cake away with a 2-1 win.

How many of the starting lineup can you name?

Back in 2004 we picked up a win on the road against Bolton.

The game swung back & forth but Spurs came out the winners 3 goals to 4.

How many of the starting lineup can you name?

Extra points for the goalscorers.
