I saw an ad for a theatrical production of Christmas Carol and the old man in the makeup immediately made me think of Chair Company. Yet another way Tim Robinson has broken my brain.

Cutting off an entire nation of people based on the actions of one individual might as well be the dictionary definition of racism. If an English immigrant killed 50 people in a mass shooting, it wouldn’t affect national policy in any way.

Why doesn’t every Predator movie end like the original with the actors looking at the camera and smiling, one by one? I want Predator: Badlands to end with Bud looking directly into the camera and giving me a thumbs up.

I don’t want Arnold to be in any more Predator movies because I feel like it couldn’t be done right at this point, but I would VERY much like to hear him say or ideally yell “Yautja.”

It’s a small, silly thing, but I love that the name Yautja migrated from the books to the movies. I love licensed fiction that expands filmic worlds, and it’s great to see that relationship between media become reciprocal.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and to justice (and to three divorces), but Kim Davis is a bigot and a fool, and she’s been wasting the government’s time and money for way too long. God grant her the clarity to stop being such a hateful dumbass. Here’s hoping we never hear from her again.

Predator: Badlands is officially my new little movie that could. So happy to see an A- CinemaScore, 85% critics/95% audience on RT, and that it will officially have the biggest opening weekend box office for the franchise. Cannot stress how much I enjoyed this film. Go see it.

Just saw Predator: Badlands and it is by far my favorite Predator sequel. I absolutely loved it. Can’t wait to talk about it as more of my friends see it. Suffice to say it is exactly the Predator sequel I’ve always wanted. I hope Dan Trachtenberg does a million of these.
