I rarely do baby knits. I knitted some hats here and there. I knitted the dress my daughter came home in and a mermaid tail for her. And a Yoda hat for a friend’s baby. #showmeyourknits #knitsky

I repurposed my breast pump case into a project bag! 🤣 It holds a sweater quantity and more!

New week new cast on! This will be a cardigan. I’m knitting it with Encore Tweed in Deepest Mauve or Deepest Midnight. Colorway is 9960 and at some point the name seems to have changed. It is a very dark purple. I won a sweater quantity at one of my knitting group’s retreat. Pattern: Pass the Honey

It looks like seed stitch. So I would keep going. Seed stitch is k1,p1 every row across an odd number of stitches. I think you’re doing it right! 👍🏻

#FinishedObjectFriday! I finished my Walk Your Way shawl yesterday and blocked it. To my surprise it was dry by this morning so I’m wearing it. It matches my Nebula sweater. Perfect for today’s activities!

I tried something new. I’ve never had quinoa before so I tried this quinoa and spinach stuffed peppers with cashew cream recipe. It turned o it good! My kids were kind of underwhelmed, but they ate at least some of it. I will make this again.

I made this shawl for my grandma for her 97th birthday. It turned out to be her last. So now I have the shawl back. I wear it on March 17th and/or 18th for St. Patrick’s Day and also her birthday (the 18th).

This is disgraceful and un-American. The Trump administration defended its removal of articles highlighting the achievements of minority service members, including Navajo code talkers, Marines at Iwo Jima, and famed Black baseball player Jackie Robinson.
