Thessa & Persephone the Rescue Sisters, back in 2020 when they were just beginning to trust humans again. They would have been approximately 4-6 months old here, I think. Thessa is the calico, Persephone the sable. At the time they did everything together.

If it's the crashed one that inevitably disappears immediately after I found it, me too, as I have never been able to start the damn mission for more than 5 minutes. Eventually decided the mission wasn't real, and stopped trying.
To be fair, he was also writing strong and intelligent women, and contrasting them with the type of woman who didn't know what a star was.

Not every book was as bad as Podkayne of Mars.... There were his sodding awful rape scenes, those were worse! Heinlein certainly was a product of his time.
Our traditional breakfast is mangoes. We try to reverse what most people do, have the big family swim before the big unseasonal meal, instead of the other way around.

Christmas day is nearly the longest day of the year. American winter christmases always looks so bleak, short, depressing & cold.
So... In Australia the flanno plaid shirt means bogan westie from the traditionally inexoensive low economic areas of Sydney. Does it mean something else in the US?
Plausibly believable, but ultimately very wrong is pretty much everything on the LLM A.I. answer sheet.

Like a stopped clock, it occasionally gets common knowledge questions right, but also like a stopped clock, you have to have another source to check if this is the moment when it is right.
We are aware of him.

Yanks are indeed weird, yes.
I'm glad (:
They are beautiful snakes.
Eeeeevil.

Those things are a menace to Aussies.
Aha, and you do have a redbelly in your collection of pictures!

I do love them. Incredibly harmless for an Aussie venomous snake. They tend to be very chill and calm around humans. "You go your way, I will go mine."

If you get a chance, do look at the belly, it is a gorgeous red & black lacework.
It's probably an Aussie thing. Pythons aren't dangerous. Tigers are.

And we have kookaburras and redbelly black snakes to keep the tiger population down.
They come through our house regularly to take out skilled hits on the resident rat population. Not unlike your pretty brown-patterned rat snake, no doubt. It's always a joy to see one climbing in the rafters. We leave out water for them when we know they're there.
It's 33 here in Newie, and it's 830 at night.... We were hoping stuff would cool down after the sun set but no luck as yet...

Man. Summer is going to be sodding spectacular.
I tend to see wild snakes more than pet snakes, but I took care of a diamond python for a year when a friend went overseas.

He looked a lot like this python, which was in my back yard a few weeks ago.
What an unfortunate name for such a pretty snake!
That sounds cool!

I remember reading a piece a while back that had people naturally progress through various pronouns through their life. It wasn't age related but role related, and people would perhaps progress through three or four as they got different family roles. Can't remember the author.
Oh how pretty!

I do tend to forget that Europe has many snakes. I would love to go look for them in their summer sometime. They're beautiful.
Yanking on the thread a little hard there for a NSW post mate.
I always thought it looked kind of boring, it was always just cheese and circles of sausage, none of the many ingredients that make pizza so interesting.
The fist logo! I used to really look forward to these comics each month.
And some of us have fun playing sakbuts. Historical musical instruments are fun.
I had a very short boyfriend (beach-ball-shaped, very adorable, it didn't work out between us, but I enjoyed going to his wedding & occasionally go swimming with his goddess of a wife) and he looks great in a big dark ankle length coat in winter. It can work.
It's a radio. A fancy one.
