the least of our issues: but when you offer 50% off a ride that probably will cost at least $30 and then cap the 50% discount at $9 (not even a nice even $10!), you are lying to me, Lyft.

I'm convinced that "regular" publishing misses a lot of really, really good authors now.

Give me your not-famous-but-should-be sci-fi author recommendations, if I can get their ebooks from bookshop.org.

The Boston Globe identified the companies in Massachusetts that employ the most SNAP recipients. A key stat: "In Massachusetts, 74% of working-age recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are employed, half of them full-time."

as a marketer for adtech and other tech products, i remember tracking the growth of internet connections and broadband adoption, then mobile devices and smartphones and i'm telling you 'stalling' was not a theme.
Multiple surveys are telling the same story: AI adoption has stalled. Census data shows ~11% of workers use AI, with rates falling at 250+ employee firms. Surveys show usage spiked then plateaued.

Meanwhile Big Tech is planning $5T in AI spend by 2030 that needs $650B/year in revenue vs ~$50B today
Investors expect AI use to soar. That’s not happening
Recent surveys point to flatlining business adoption

It’s really funny how a generation will roll its eyes at parents who watch Fox News but doesn’t see why being immersed in Twitter is having the same effect. Lots of serious people show up on Fox News too but that shouldn’t be your primary source on the news.
