‘You there! Stop being shit!’

Not Worcester Sauce then? Or better still, pickled onion?
thistimesurely.bsky.social
Haha, you’re quite right. 😁

The one constant is Anka’s relatively-suddenly-developed utter disdain for Amorim. Did he not get the answers he demanded a presser or something? He’s grown quite smug in his condemnation of the manager now.

Finally got round to listening to the post-match TOTD pod. I said I thought there was a lack of sincerity after the Brentford game. All of them seemingly Amorim out. Together. Now I hear lots of backtracking around him. After one win. Whatever way the wind blows lads.

30 fucking years. 😩

Play K-Klass - Let me show you love!

(Just a bit of DJ advice for you there. From someone that’s never spun a tune in his life). 👍

Some great songs in this chart from 1990 (unsurprisingly), but TOTP seems to be focussing on the few bad ones. (Beautiful South the single exception so far).

A decent year. (Not sure about you, but I was referring to *everything* rather than just music though)? 🙂

You seem to know a lot Ian. Can I ask what you think Ratcliffe would have to gain by stating something so certainly, only to change his mind a fortnight later? Why would he voluntarily put himself in the position of looking like a lying, clueless idiot?

That mic stand. Iconic.

1986 on TOTP. Pound for pound, probably the best year in history.

‘Top’ referee indeed.

Yes, perhaps Brendan.

That obviously doesn’t explain why they can’t raise a smile when 3-0 up at home town Wales.

Is there anything in the way England fans are treated? We’ve obviously had a history of ‘behaving like dickheads’ but you also hear lots of stories of England fans ‘not behaving like dickheads’ but being treated as if they’re ’about to behave like dickheads’. That could take the shine off.

They just want to be right. When it looked like he was for the chip, their narrative was that he’s useless. Now the indications are he’s staying for the foreseeable, they start seeing the positives. Whichever way the wind blows.

Interesting that such statements are only coming out after Jim gave him his backing. Up till that point, they were all queuing up to write his obituaries.

James & Doves at the O2 in April? Yeah sure.

Are you listening Keir? This is what a democratic leader sounds like.

It’s obviously affecting them more than most. But other players played with him at international level. Bruno has been largely terrible this season. It’s not easy losing people you’re close to.

I agree, it’s very unclear what is allowed and what isn’t. I wonder if perhaps different types of investment can be used for different things? I.e. sponsorship type deals can go towards PSR calcs. But simple cash injections from the owner, can’t? Such sums can pay bills but not sign players?
