It was obvious after 10 mins that the kicking game was a waste of time, we persisted with it and they won every ball in the air. Terrible tactics, we should just try and play.

Don’t understand why this wasn’t one of the first things our did. Huge majority, straight though without any challenge and could have phrased it such that it would be difficult to unpick for any future government.

First Reeves on EU relations and now going for Radcliffe on Immigration. McSweeney has gone and suddenly the Government are much braver and progressive. Being beholden to McSweeney said more about Starmer’s judgement than the Mandleson saga. He has a huge majority he needs to be braver.
