This Hytale custom map was built by @propzie.bsky.social and I during an internal mod jam a few years ago.
We created some blocks, weather, prefabs - that we might soon share.

Note that this video doesn't feature the lighting fixes we have been doing in the past few weeks. #Hytale

If you ever wondered how we shot the Hytale trailer, it was with Machinima tool, our in-house experimental cinematic feature.

You cannot technically explain yourself out of UX issues, please stop trying.

So often I see users bring up UX issues, and programmers then tell them how much work it was to create their product.

It doesn't matter how much work it was!! What matters is if your target audience uses it or not.

Plan for 2026:
- finding a new pixel art job (hello, please hire me)
- putting stuff on my koffee page (asset packs, wallpapers, etc.)
- streaming
- finding schools to teach pixel art again
- more festivals and events
- hopefully more personal projects and art
- having an online shop again

#Hytale is coming out the 13th of January.

This is unprecedented after being cancelled, and I still struggle believing it.
The project is the sum of so many creative spirits, like @oscargarvin.bsky.social , who was always able to put tears in my eyes with his songs. Like this one for example..🥺
