If you started following me because I said something clever somewhere, I am so sorry.
Tonight we just got back from an out of town drive-in playing a bloodsucking double feature of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and The Lost Boys.
Last night we watched an old couple’s favorite, del Toro’s perfect gothic ghost story, Crimson Peak. This movie is creepy and romantic and tragic in all the right ways.
In his younger days, before I was born, my dad somehow managed to move an enormous rolltop desk to our basement: I don't know how because it looks like it weighs about 8000 pounds.

His only explanation when asked was "I used to be hell on wheels."
Continuing spooky season we saw Creepshow at the Alamo Drafthouse a couple of days ago, which perfectly emulates its horror comic book inspiration: C was not a fan of the "They're Creeping Up on You!" sequence.
