At least three times in Avatar 3, Jake tells his son "stay here and protect your sisters" before running off to battle. And every single time, the son doesn't do that and runs off himself. Spoiler alert, he never learns not to do that even after it almost always ends badly.

You're all misreading the situation, as usual. Maduro is a smokescreen. This was about returning Osbourne Cox to US custody, which they almost certainly did.

I never saw a single ad for this. I had absolutely zero idea it existed until seconds ago in a list of this year's biggest box office bombs. Apparently it cost 55 million dollars and made 6 mil back.
