They keep preaching about the fact "csm fans act like its not gonna get resolved" it isnt ABOUT THAT. Its the way its CURRENTLY handled and framed Ofc theres gonna be changes once we know all of part 2 but that doesnt mean csm is free from criticisms because its ONGOING

not once has denji even asked to speak to asa. no “change back to her”, no concern about how these murders are bringing her to the mental collapse that Yoru claimed.

he just doesn’t care. he’s actively grieving and numb but part of that is not having the emotional energy to care for her.

the reaction to this chapter being “asa just needs to take over and set things straight” or that she’ll “step up and cockblock him” just solidifies that asa is widely seen as merely a narrative reward, object of pacification and morality touchstone for denji.
