In the last 20 years, USAID has saved 92 million lives. Trump's cuts will kill 14 million people in the next 5 years.
A new study in the Lancet says the closure of USAID could lead to the premature deaths of more than 14 million people in less than five years, including 4.5 million children under the age of 5.

Zoe Daniel's opinion piece is spot-on. The only thing Trump thinks 'biggly' about is himself. Dutton's admiration of Don the Con's strategy shows, amongst other things, exactly why he is unfit to be PM #auspol

For the record, Joe Hockey is a defence lobbyist who stands to make millions from defence contracts with the US and other allies. To just describe him in interviews as a former US ambassador and not his CURRENT vested interest role is not just irresponsible, it's lying.

Dems would get much more traction finding and promoting people saying what they know and experience.

What has more impact, This man speaking his mind or the Dems speaking “in unison “ ?

Reiterating: Dutton’s economic plan for nuclear does not stack up. It is not so much a plan as a collection of ambitious & unsubstantiated assumptions.
The Coalition like to make up myths about renewables to distract from their risky nuclear scheme.

🤓 in just 6 years, australia's two main grids added 51 TWh/yr of wind+solar generation.

…taking us from 19.9% → 38.8% renewables.

…this is equivalent to 6.6 large #nuclear reactors, but at much lower cost & much faster.

…even more impressive given there's no chance of nuclear here for 20+ years.
