Brutally speaking the company is losing a customer so there is less incentive for them to be administratively efficient.

A useful piece of legislation could be to mandate that companies dedicate resources equivalent to their rate of customer attrition.

SoundCloud’s new T’s&C’s are fairly terrifying to me.
I have no intention to ever knowingly consume AI generated music. What a lot of power these companies will have when they can generate lyrics and create moods to suit their own interests.

Two working parents has not doubled a couple’s spending power.

Instead one salary usually goes entirely to pay for childcare.

I moved from the UK to Sweden a decade ago. Here childcare costs around £100pm for each child and child poverty is much lower.

Is that not the essence of the conversation, though? I myself have no media presence, long may that continue but in my opinion, you as a recognised media presence do have enough influence to be able to move the zeitgeist and as such is it not your responsibility to promote music as a positive force?
