Die Abbildung zeigt vier Fotos. Ganz links werden Messgeräte gezeigt, mit denen der Treibhausgasaustausch gemessen wird. Sie stehen im Nebel. Daneben wird ein Bodenprofil gezeigt, aus dem drei dünne Schläuche zur Entnahme von Wasserproben kommen. Links davon ist ein Probenehmer für Wasserproben aus Gräben gezeigt. Der Probenehmer ist offen, so dass mann die Probenahmeflaschen sehen kann. Ganz rechts wird gezeigt, wie eine Bodenprobe genommen wird. Man sieht einen Bohrer, der mit Boden gefüllt ist und im Gras liegt.
