Spoke too soon on this: After Cleaning the Glass filtered out garbage-time stats from the Warriors win — which meant THE ENTIRE FOURTH QUARTER — OKC moves up to fifth in offense, with a net rating of +15.8 ... which, over 82 games, would project to 71.8 wins. cleaningtheglass.com/stats/league...
Another blowout win tonight over the Warriors; another fourth quarter off for SGA. Now 11-1, sixth in offense, first in defense, outscoring opponents by 13.8 points per 100 possessions — ahead of last season's net rating — with J-Dub still not having played yet. Monster team.

I don’t mean to be hyperbolic but it may very well never get better than *this* era of Thunder basketball.

I know people have been critical of Isaiah Joe in the postseason, but I think the quicker & more compact jumper will pay dividends in the postseason when it comes to those mid-late closeouts.
He’s getting up almost 15 attempts (!!) per 75 possessions so far this season.

Nikola Topic’s testicular cancer diagnosis was a fear of mine — especially with it being on the rise in young adults.
Tope worked hard to get back after missing that first season & he’s so young, man. It’s really not fair.

Caruso “Nash” dribbles & hits the nice pass to Lu Dort on the “45” cut.
His playmaking is an under-appreciated part of his game. It helps in games like last night where you’re missing Chet & the opponents go zone. AC is one of the few guys on the team who can operate out of the middle of the floor.
