Will talk about Leeds 90% of the time. Random shit the other 10%. May get very sweary, especially during or after games!

A lot of talk about Sunderland being decimated for the African Nations but they’ll lose 3 players from the squad that started v Newcastle.
Fulham will also lose 3!!!

West Ham at Man City next weekend, a win over Palace would be absolutely massive

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has scored in each of his last four Premier League appearances for Leeds United; the joint-longest current streak by any player across Europe's big five leagues (also 4 for Phil Foden). (Opta)

What encourages me greatly about that game was just how poor Brentford were, they are definitely one we could catch

Could have won that with a bit more intent but by god I’d have taken a point before the game #lufc

Leeds haven't conceded a first half goal in the Premier League since switching to their 3-5-2 formation (3 games). (Squawka)

She’s absolutely right, but the reality is, unless we are dragged into a direct war with Russia, none of the major nations have the political strength to take Billions from other spending, and redirect to defence. It’s just not a vote winner. Depressing
We need to build up European military capabilities swiftly.

Strengthening European defence and supporting Ukraine are not separate tracks.
They are mutually reinforcing priorities.

Today’s call with E5 defence colleagues underscored our shared determination to move forward on both.

Powerful organisations that want to inhibit personal freedoms are taking over the political right, and are using fear to garner popular support
We've seen firsthand how Meta's algorithm censors our campaigning. Over the last year our posts advocating for the decriminalisation of abortion, or an enforceable 'conversion therapy' ban have been affected. It is tragic, but unsurprising 🧵
Meta shuts down global accounts linked to abortion advice and queer content
More than 50 organisations report sites being restricted or removed, with abortion hotlines blocked and posts showing non-explicit nudity triggering warnings

Reform (and possibly the Tories) want to bring this to Britain
ICYMI — “I identified myself as a U.S. citizen and a veteran, but that didn't matter. ICE Agents smashed my window, sprayed tear gas and pepper spray into my car, dragged me out… this experience violated the very principles I fought to defend.”

And here’s me thinking we called it that because we live in a country called Great Britain. This hating everything that the right might do/use just because they’ve done/used it is such a ridiculous obsession

It’s never about the money for these people
If you make a billion dollars — or $500 million or even $100 million dollars — and you keep trying to make more, then there is something seriously wrong with you. It's a mental illness akin to hoarding or drug addiction.
