and lastly, my one true love in Magic. Teferi, Hero of Dominaria. RIP + Energy Field locks your opponent out of dealing you damage ever (and randomly hoses gy decks while you're at it). not sure the right number of each half to run but the 3/2 split has felt good so far

i'm a sucker for the esper shard, and i love playing Hullbreacher decks in Vintage Cube. turns out you can play with Hullbreacher in VV too! you just have to play a terrible wheel instead of a good one. this deck has impressed me though! 3c mana is surprisingly doable.

i found out this morning that Izzet Phoenix is very achievable in Value Vintage! Frantic Search is a busted card, who knew. sadly Manamorphose is a bit too expensive to run, but that will surely change whenever it's next reprinted.
