The amount of Black history that still hasn't been taught...
Reading about the countless free and freed Black Americans, who basically kept the so-called Underground Railroad operating safely—especially after the Fugitive Slave Act (also known as the Bloodhound Act) of 1850.
As a boy, I was only ever taught about the white people, often Quakers, who helped.
