Over the last decade I've done many things in the #Hannibal fandom, from running events to maintaining fandom info (eg. HEU spreadsheet, etc)

But one thing I will forever be amazed and appreciative of, is being afforded the opportunity to tell Hugh about the transness of our fandom. What a legacy 😭

However, creator Bryan Fuller came up with a brilliant work of examining the obsessive, psychosexual relationship between FBI agent Will Graham (Hugh Dancy) and Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mads Mikkelsen) as they played a game of cat-and-mouse through the pursuit of other serial killers. Hannibal was shocking and unpredictable in a way that television rarely is, which makes it all the more impressive that it aired on a network like NBC, and not a streaming service that would have typically allowed for more explicit content. Despite being canceled prematurely, Hannibal ended in a brilliant final episode that closed the chapter on one era of the story, even if it would be very exciting if Fuller were ever given the chance to return.

Whilst I remember - a quick apology to those who signed up for my post RDC goodie bag. This has been a crazy year of unexpected house move, unexpected job change and being excessively busy.

About a month ago I moved to a senior role at a different firm after over 12 years at my old one. I knew it would be an interesting fresh start, but most interesting is not being out as trans at work. In a place where the DEI culture speaks a good game but on a people level is not embedded.
