Investors should hate this, because students cannot pay for a subscription and most parents won't buy one for them, which means they're using the free version of ChatGPT.

That means....no profit from the core user base. Only expenses.

In genre fiction, whether it's epic fantasy, sci-fi, milsf, romantasy, or urban, realistic is the bane of entertaining. Yes, you'll turn off a tiny portion of your audience. But the majority care more about being entertained than they do about realism.
