Kyle Tucker is a game-changing bat. Don’t expect another in free agency anytime soon
Beyond Tucker, there's a drop among available free-agent outfielders.

(That means David Peterson is the last Met who played under Wilpon ownership.)
With the trade of Jeff McNeil, the Mets have now moved on from their five longest-tenured players from last season. No one who played for the Mets last decade is still with them.

Baseball will now centralize all in-game data & tech at minor league level as they have with Statcast at the major league level. This will bring the bottom up, but critics say it's anti-spending, anti-innovation, and punitive to the teams that have invested in the future of the game. t.co/0UuQei8EtW
