I want to say to anyone upset about The Game Awards that Half Life 3 didn't show up;
1. Valve never said they'd show up and
2. Half Life 3 doesn't need to show up at the TGAs, why spend $1m on a trailer when you can just put up a Youtube video and get a billion views overnight?

By the way a LOT of people are going to act like Crystal Dynamics caved to their demands and gave them the Lara Croft they wanted when from the beginning Lara was the way she was cos those were Prequels.

Honestly I can't get excited about some of these game trailers, so many of these things get cancelled it's like why get invested in say Fate of the Old Republic when there might be an article on Gamesrant saying it's been cancelled in 2 years.

I just want to point out that Jared Kushner and the Saudis were also involved in the recent EA buyout. This is the plan, the right will win hearts and minds by making sure they own ALL the media.
Jared Kushner's involvement was "not mentioned in Paramount's press release on Monday morning about its $108 billion bid, nor were participating sovereign wealth funds from Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Qatar."

Ok this is the part that confuses me cos Netflix really has next to no experience running games companies. I can't see this going very well for anyone involved.
A WB spokesperson confirmed that the nine WB Games Studios will join Netflix including NetherRealm, Rocksteady, Avalanche Software, and TT Games.
