Not to be un-america, but maybe we should have been a little more willing to update our government with good ideas from other countries. Like dissolving the government and having new elections when it becomes clear that the current government can no longer govern. Or isn't interested in governing

Someone at my work said her husband and his friends had rented an Airbnb to take a fishing trip and then she slowly said the name of the town (I guess because she had not encountered it before) and it was my hometown. It was like someone blew a dog whistle, my ears perked up and my head turned.
