I'm really starting to wonder if Caja Rural isn't spreading itself too thin. Only 26 riders on the team, and they are set to start in a whole bunch of stage races, including Tour, Tireno, Dauphine, Catalunya, Basque and a bunch of 2.Pro races.

I could be wrong, since you never really know with Del Grosso, but it seems like Del Grosso is rope-a-dope-ing Nys a bit. Not doing as explosive efforts as Nys, but seems to conserve his energy better. Also definitely has an advantage on the steep parts #CXWORLDCHAMPIONSHIPS

If that rumour about ASO inviting Caja to the Tour is true, that feels weirdly personal. While I don't agree, I can somewhat see an argument for inviting a Spanish team with a bigger history. But only giving an invite for Fleche while inviting clearly lesser team like Burgos and Kern Pharma to LBL?
