Always a great day when community, kids, and a little hockey magic come together.

So glad to welcome youth from the Boys and Girls Club to the Rink of Dreams with our friends from the Ottawa Senators.

Ottawa woke up to approximately 20 to 25 centimetres this morning. Snowmageddon, Snowpocalypse, Snowpalooza—however you call it, that's a lot of snow! Our Roads and Parking services team has been out non-stop for days (and nights!) and you better believe there's no stopping them.

After noticing a truck parked on Shefford Road for a few days, I asked Ottawa Police to investigate. Officers are on site, and the truck should be removed shortly.

Who loves a snow day more than kids? The Roads and Parking Services team, that's who! Days like this fuel their passion and this weather event is shaping up to be a big one! The snow is expected to intensify through the day with a total of 15 to 25 centimetres possible.

Great having the opportunity to accompany my colleague, David Hill, to the Officer’s Hall.

Spaces like this are rich with history and reflection.

Stopped by La Bonita and let me tell you — this place delivers.

From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted with warmth, colour, and an atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. The food, the story, the people behind it — it all comes together in a way that feels genuinely special.

Great conversation this morning at the Breakfast with the Mayor, hosted by the Greater Ottawa Home Builders’ Association.

Yesterday we got more snow than was forecasted, and today we got less. It’s hard to keep track! It’s like the weather forecast is a polite suggestion that Mother Nature plans to ignore. You know who isn’t ignoring it? The Roads and Parking Services team—they’re on top of it!

Environment Canada said we’d get 2 to 4 centimetres of snow yesterday—but Mother Nature clearly didn’t get the memo. Depending on where you were, the city saw anywhere from 5 to 10 centimetres.

Snow is coming down hard right now ❄️

Road conditions can change quickly, so slow down, leave extra space between vehicles, and give yourself a bit more time to get where you’re going. A little patience goes a long way when the roads are snowy.

Let’s all do our part so everyone gets home safe.
