I can put up with big work disputes in the US soccer leagues. Only a few people in MLS and maybe 10 in the NWSL make $1 million or more per season. Plenty make less than $100,000.

The MLB minimum is about $350,000. It really is fairly rich people bickering with super rich people.

I'm wavering about whether or not I'm going to pay out of pocket bucks to watch the Atlanta Braves this season.

I'm 50-50 right now, TBH.

Baseball might me losing me.

I never will.

Random Post of the Day:

Not going to lie, the impending HUGE work stoppage coming from the MLB lockout (after this season is completed) has me cooling on baseball even more.

It's always the fans who are the ones who are thought of last.

Everything about these years are revelatory. We aren't just seeing the worst in people. We're also seeing amazing acts of bravery, resistance and boundless kindness.

Been thinking about the 250th Anniversary of the American revolution this year. My first visceral reactions have been about how obscene it is that this will happen under this administration and this vile POTUS.

Maybe it's fitting, though. Maybe defeating MAGA will make us appreciate our freedoms.

Without naming them, my new favorite show The Pitt let a beloved character die in this week's episode.

It really shook me.

Defeat Collins, Maine.

Susan Collins, the unrepentant lying senator from Maine...the "I'm concerned" MAGA-adjacent LIAR who said she wouldn't seek office again after two terms, announced this week that she's running for her 6TH TERM.

It's time to retire Collins for good.

It's actually past time to send this liar home.

Even after he left office, former President Harry Truman struggled financially. Mainly because of Truman and his closest aides repeatedly contacting Congress, a pension for former Presidents was established.

Presidents weren't always grifting criminals who use the office to enrich themselves.

People like Todd Blanche and Pam Bondi aren't ever going to be able to get this stink of corruption and coverup of vile acts off of them.

It needs to follow them for the rest of their miserable lives.
