The entire image is made in a an off white, off black, and red palette. It's a flat view of a board game with two mirroring paths, two big red translucent dice with a rolled 6 each, Xie Lian's player piece and Hong Honger's player piece diagonally from him. In the middle where the both paths individually lead to is an oxcart. Both path squares show hualian's history leading up to their final meeting in a timeline. For example, Hua Cheng's path has multiple skulls pointing out his deaths or attempts at his life, Xie Lian's path has tiles have events like his battle for ascension. Some tiles are the same and mirror each other like the hand off of the red umbrella. Some paths are the same event from different perspectives, like Hua Cheng's explosive fire tile is in the same position as Xie Lian's tile covered in blood.
