Summer Stars 2025 was launched by Cllr Declan Burgess (Cathaoirleach Tipperary County Council) in Thurles library yesterday with the help of magician Spageddy Eddy and 3rd class from St. Ailbhe's school, Thurles. Make sure to sign up at your local branch!

At Clonmel Library we have a new weekly Toddler Story Time taking place every Friday at 10:30am to complement our regular Story Time which takes place at 4:00pm (also on Friday). Drop in with your little ones for lots of stories and fun!

Every year we host special events for Cruinniú na nÓg in our Thurles and Cashel branches. This year we have a great selection of activities and workshops that include Dance, Robotics, Drumming, Slime and a special Sensory workshop with Sense-sational kids. At its peak in 1848, around 200,000 children from all denominations were being fed and clad, many of whom would have otherwise perished from hunger and disease.

Due to delays caused by Storm Éowyn Roscrea Library will now reopen on Thursday the 6th of February at 10:00am. Please note that My Open Library access will be suspended until we reopen. You can renew loans by accessing your Online Account. You can also use any other branch in the county.
