All the way back. 2.5 hours of walking. A border crossing (not manned), no data service so I couldn’t use my map. Had to just trust my sense of direction. Still impressive but not anything dangerous or heroic lol

lol no but the serious story is very mundane. I was traveling alone in rural Switzerland and decided to uber to a bar one night. The bar was in a nearby town (oops, France!) Had two beers and left. Tried to call another uber but realized my SIM card was only valid in Switzerland so I walked…

Oh no it’s a 250th anniversary monument. On its face acceptable but deeply problematic given the fact that the country founded 250 years ago is being deliberately destroyed by the man who intends to erect this monument
