The state of the modern internet is just gross... just to read a simple article on the mirror's website without even consenting to cookies... this is how many external domains (mostly third party trackers) the site tries to load.

The December curse strikes again… last year it was a leaking roof, the year before it was a dying washing machine, this year the dishwasher has decided it has had enough and has aggressively shat itself.

I don’t know what possessed me to ride the big heavy non-electric bike today. It does at least have the advantage that I can get it home on a train rather than riding 9 miles back to Manor Park.

Good grief instagram has gone downhill… I opened “reels” for the first time in months while having a particularly stubborn morning dump, and the entire feed is just a low grade carousel of carbon copy c-level, gay-baiting, onlyfans grifts.

It must be that time of year again… The RAM modules in my NAS seems to fail every autumn so now I’m stuck slumming it with Netflix until some new DDR3 arrives.
Probably being overly cautious but I’m keeping the disks out until the chassis is happy again.

I seem to have become addicted to watching Discovery docuseries … I have polished off 30+ seasons of Gold Rush and Deadliest Catch over the past few months.
I also have the gay audacity after watching so many seasons to believe I’d be better at gold mining or crab fishing than most of the pro’s.
