Watching Psycho (1960) from my sickbed. It’s my favorite film ever and I think the scariest part is how Marion turns on the shower while standing directly under the spray. No warm up, no temp check. Just raw.

As a confessional writer, I don’t think there’s anything wrong using your life as creative fodder but I do wonder when do you move past using your work as personal diary? When do you hold yourself accountable? Revenge is cute but what about reflection? When do you stop reacting to life and build it?
