It's Baltic. Everyone is watching the Smart Meter whirling. Gas reserves are being squeezed. I everyone understands that the last Tory government scrapped our reserve gas storage facilities. This crisis is the inevitable result of their actions , not the current government's energy policies.

Would be great if a national outlet would report on this given the scale of disruption, scandal and potential disaster.
Not sure if folk elsewhere have seen this - the urgent closure of the Gateshead Flyover for structural reasons now also means there are no metros crossing the Tyne. Key transport links across the region have been severed.
