Macro #photography is an area I haven't actively explored - never really had the right camera lens. Although I've had a couple of interesting photos that probably qualify for #MacroMonday - here's one of them!

A cyanotype of my #photo of #Rochester Bridge. I used acetate to print a black and white and them exposed to the sun for 5 minutes.

Canterbury Cathedral #cyanotype with a 5 minute exposure on ink paper. This is from one of my photographs printed as a negative on acetate.

This week's submission for the #BlueSkyArtShow theme of #Texture. An interesting beetle sits upon a rugged and textured log.

It was great to hear this blackbird singing away in the sunshine. Even better to hear a second bird returning its calls.

The old Londpn City Hall on the South Bank of the Thames. The area looks really nice with the lush green trees during the #spring and #summer months.

I know not everyone likes modern buildings, but there is something about them when photographed cropped in close against the sky that just works.

Architecture and gardens at the RHS Hyde Hall Gardens in #Essex - a stunning garden landscape that you can easily spend the whole day enjoying.

Cranes along the River Thames harking back to a time when the river was the lifeblood of trade and industry coming in from across the world.

Another great photo: thanks for sharing!
Like it! Minimal, geometric - you can't go wrong!
Great use of the perspective angles of the two walls in this photo. Keeps my eye centred to view the entire photo as one as opposed to dashing around all over.
Great photos! The street view is my fave
There's been countless photos looking down stairs, but this one seems to be set apart from the rest. The angles work really well, and the bars on the right framing the image also give a finite end. There's something in the perspective as well. All in all a really cool photo!
Looks like a scene out of a horror film, or perhaps The Matrix
Headstone Viaduct in the #PeakDistrict. Now part of the Monsal Trail walk, it was formerly a #Victorian viaduct for the Midland Railway to span the River Wye.

A photograph of an imposing London #building. Some of my favourite subjects are buildings. I enjoy modern and old, but modern blocky #geometry definitely lends itself to photography.

Slightly different 'spin' on the #Architecture #Photography during May. I didn't say it couldn't be animal/insect 'buildings'. These caterpillars spun a very intricate silk web, but I liked this singular supporting strand.

I look forward to using it more - I'm on black and white only at the moment!
