I watched it 2 and a half times. I sort of gave up on that third watch-through when I stopped working on the episode breakdown articles for TRH. 😅

But I'll try to fit in another full season rewatch before S2 is out. It was flawed but fun. 😎

I can't recall any interaction with him before he started posting weird comments about Hungarians and tapirs in my replies on Twitter and then Insta and here. And he's done a lot worse to some others in the community, so I have zero patience and tolerance for his nonsense.

I used to be like that but then I realised I was spending way too much time and energy on people who were purposefully being hateful and rage-baity, so now I just mute and block liberally.

Strangers aren't automatically owed my time just because we have a common interest. 😅

Lara's braid was replaced for a presentation at E3 as it would clip right through her back and neck which looked rather grotesque.
Then we had a huge list of higher priority tasks to crunch through before launch so it stayed as the temporary bun.

Nothing to do with polygon count as stated here⬇️🤦

Happy National Video Games Day! 🎮

Did you know that Lara Croft did not have her iconic braid in the original Tomb Raider released in 1996? It was removed because it used too many of the polygons that could be displayed at one time. Instead, Lara's hair was tucked into a bun.

I know some people were sick to bastard death of Natla constantly rising from the dead to fuck with Lara Croft but personally truly for me, the Atlantean story from the original game was what made the series SO damn good from the get-go. They do not make bad bitch villains like that anymore.

Considering the state of the gaming scene in the 90s, classic era Lara Croft really was a standout female character, never really sexualised within the games (let's not talk about the ads), self-driven, and not reliant on a man.
