I'm always happy to help my friends at Special Olympics NJ and it was a blast being on the mic and on the boardwalk with Big Joe Henry from NJ 101.5 for Saturday's Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Heights! Raised $2.5mil for SONJ!!

Saturday (1/18), my band Dead Äire (we'll be on Bluesky soon) was the house band for a tribute to Pat DiNizio and The Smithereens! Joined by Mike Rocket, John Easdale, Rick Winowski, Lisa Bouchelle, Sam Fairley, Pete Mancini, Joe D'Urso AND Jim Babjak! All for the Light Of Day Foundation!

RIP Peter Yarrow. From the "March On Washington" to the WCBS studio for WhyHunger, he was a tireless advocate for social justice & human rights. It was an honor to meet & interview him for Hungerthon2017. To me, he proved that not all heroes wear capes; they sometimes carry battered acoustic guitars
