I'm always happy to help my friends at Special Olympics NJ and it was a blast being on the mic and on the boardwalk with Big Joe Henry from NJ 101.5 for Saturday's Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Heights! Raised $2.5mil for SONJ!!

RIP Peter Yarrow. From the "March On Washington" to the WCBS studio for WhyHunger, he was a tireless advocate for social justice & human rights. It was an honor to meet & interview him for Hungerthon2017. To me, he proved that not all heroes wear capes; they sometimes carry battered acoustic guitars

Not gonna lie, it's been a tough year. In a span of 10 weeks, WCBS went dark and I lost my job, then we lost both of our wonderful pups. But hey, as Springsteen sang, "hard times come and hard times go"...
