Love the rant, but you and HJ have been dooming the Pads for years now. Have some optimism for once Corey!!!

Rumor is Andujar wasn’t on Preller’s radar until having lunch with Corey at Lucky’s last week…
February 5, 2026 at 4:50 AM
Not much different than last year. 🤷‍♂️
February 3, 2026 at 3:32 AM
Congrats! You’ve made Trump and the Republican Party stronger.

You can be critical of the Dems without trying to sabotage them.
January 24, 2026 at 4:49 PM
Maybe we’d have gone with a bullpen game in Game 3 if we had all 5 horsemen?
January 24, 2026 at 6:40 AM
We didn’t have Adam in the playoffs last year. A dominant pen can be an equalizer against a superior roster in a short series. I like the strategy. 🤷‍♂️

Baseball players are the most uneducated for sure, and hence the most conservative.
January 23, 2026 at 2:38 AM
Yeah, that’s not what I’m saying at all. I oppose ICE and want it abolished. In order to do so, Democrats need to build the strongest and largest coalition possible in order to make big changes. Politically I do not think a strategy of ostracizing Democrats in red areas is a smart strategy.
January 23, 2026 at 1:03 AM
Offering an opinion, just like you? 🤷‍♂️
January 23, 2026 at 12:53 AM
I oppose the spending bill as well. I’m just not willing to primary people because of one disagreement on one vote.
January 23, 2026 at 12:50 AM
I agree with you on the issues Kevin, but let’s not throw out people who we agree with 99% of the time simply because we disagree with them on one vote!
January 23, 2026 at 12:45 AM
My only question is that the people who know him best decided he wasn’t the answer, and spent $155M to replace him. Perhaps he would thrive - I’m just cautious.
January 20, 2026 at 3:51 PM
Think he has a shot at the next level? I was just telling my old roommates that Sarratt is probably the best NFL caliber player from JMU in 20 years
January 20, 2026 at 1:58 AM
I believe this is how you perceive your experience Tom. I’m a fan & enjoy reading you. But don’t you wonder if your own biases at that time fueled that perception, especially considering the outcome 40 years later? Perhaps conservatives were not as on the up & up as you thought back then?
January 15, 2026 at 5:56 AM
I love it Jason, but sadly, memories are short and people don’t care, even when your remind them. Republicans paid no price for the worst foreign policy disaster since Vietnam (Iraq).

Like you, I won’t forget and will die reminding people what they said, but sadly it won’t matter.
January 8, 2026 at 5:19 AM
I disagree. I think we had talented teams capable of winning the WS in both years had we played better and gotten a few breaks.
January 7, 2026 at 8:19 PM
Every offseason we hear from some that the "competitive window" just closed. And every year, AJ puts another playoff caliber team on the field...
January 7, 2026 at 8:02 PM
John C living in reality; John G apparently living in Mars and doesn’t realize the Padres have been to the playoffs 4 of the last 6 years and Preller has consistently put together great MLB rosters.
January 7, 2026 at 3:31 PM
It’s clear the point you were making, so don’t be hard on yourself Kevin. Props for thinking about how it could possibly negatively impact people, even if that wasn’t your intent. 👍

A month of free service for buying the Starlink hardware? Is that supposed to be a gift? I get more free service with Apple products.
January 5, 2026 at 4:23 AM
Hopefully
January 5, 2026 at 4:21 AM
Much more fun to fan that way. I don’t understand the allure of shitting on the team non-stop year after year as many fans do, but to each his/her own. Weird to me that folks are so negative during the winningest time in franchise history.
December 23, 2025 at 5:30 PM
Thanks for the thread Orin. This seems like an earthquake in that circle.
December 23, 2025 at 4:51 AM
Preller convinces the top pitcher in free agency to sign with San Diego for 2026 and Padre fans complain.

Unreal.

Would be interesting to see these numbers for the Scalia School of Law (George Mason's Law School).
