Christmas reads.
Harper Lee - short stories that I enjoyed, but mainly made me want to reread To Kill a Mockingbird.
Flesh by David Szalay - I read this really quickly, which is a good sign. It is a reflective and thought-provoking read that is often bleak / sad. #BookSky #Books 💙📚

Christmas reads.
Mick Herron and Richard Osman - good - just as you would expect.
The second Full Moon Coffee Shop - OK, but not as good as the first one.
Patricia Lockwood - Odd - still not sure what I read.

Think this pretty much sums up now.
William Shakespeare in 1600, a description of a distopian future better than Orwell or Bradbury?

Round walk from Marsden across Marsden Moor and onto Standedge. Middle section all along the Penine Way. Low winter sun (often in shade) made it feel pretty cold. #Walking #PeakDistrict #Landscape

Simonside.
Maybe unfairly, I described this as the Mam Tor of the #Northumberland National Park.
A short round walk of about 6ish miles, with stunning views.
Looking forward to a Happy New Year '26.
