This is not a Bluesky problem.

It's not even just a Twitter-bigot problem.

One of my favorite malls in the Baltimore Metro area.

So many memories: when classes were over in College, I took the light rail and buses down Glen Burnie to this mall.

It had a lot more stores back then, even as a dying mall. Now it's just a shell. :(

Took Galactus over to two of my favorite old haunts today. I’m sorry to report that Marley Station Mall has fallen to levels that resemble “the final year of Lakeforest”. Centre at Glen Burnie final Mallway is just as depressing, though :(

Marley Station Mall is virtually empty now in 2025. There’s maybe a dozen stores left, and it’s giving “Lakeforest in its final year”. Go see it now before it’s gone forever, and watch both of my videos of its life here:

I saw someone call Ai a Thneed and I can't stop thinking about it. It's a PERFECT analogy. The Thneed was an all-purpose tool that didn't do anything really useful. It was a fad that did major damage to the environment to make the Onceler a billionare. It left no real lasting impact, only damage.
