Laura Kuenssberg has just managed to host an hour long political programme, without a single mention of one of the main parties being implicated in a Russian bribery scandal

How is that even fucking possible?

Not a word in the Mail on Sunday on Nathan Gill of Reform being convicted of taking Russian bribes. Covid inquiry findings relegated to one page - page 17.

Surely a purchase of the Telegraph by the Mail should be blocked on media plurality grounds?

I wonder if anyone in our national press will ever write that Reform have had a nightmare week?

Seems pretty evident that there should be prosecutions now. Misconduct in public office. #CovidEnquiry.

BREAKING: UK’s response to Covid was “too little too late”. Acting faster could have saved 23,000 lives in England according to the public inquiry.

Boris Johnson presided over a “toxic, sexist, chaotic culture” in No10, where rule-breaking seriously undermined public confidence.

It’s funny how you never see a story in the papers saying that Reform have had a really bad week.

I believe he could be doing a lot better and has made some basic errors. But ‘close to untenable’ suggests he is being measured by vastly different criteria than every single Tory PM since Cameron.

It’s turning into a legitimacy crisis, that much is certain. But how much of this is stirred by the media? After all, they set the agenda.
When the inevitable Reform gov’t lands, will the voices of reason - with their podcasts, substacks, blogs, radio shows etc - still be free to air their views?

When is a pm given any time? Under what measures is his position untenable? Because media folks say so promoted by gbeebies and even yourself? Labour need to grow a pair and plough the fuck onwards and get results. The left always shred themselves. The right are trying to force an early GE ffs

Why should Starmer’s position be untenable? There is a cacophony of sound, but the majority is large. I can only think that rule by opinion poll is the guiding light and that way populism lies. Do we want to mirror the US?

The BBC really doesn’t help itself, does it? Constantly platform Reform- who have now turned on them. And relentless attacks on a government whose support they may well need in the coming days.
