Again, I think Carney has been horrible. But on the US relations front, his job is to protect Canadian interests and I have a hard time saying he hasn't done that. At least not when compared to the rest of the world.

Sure. Go for it. Then we can count the same for every other country. The only countries actively being antagonistic are the ones where trump is making them into a national enemy. That was Canada for a hot second and I imagine Carney isn't eager to go back there.

It literally costs nothing to just tell trump he's a big special boy then go about trying to get what you want. Canada's trade situation with the US is way better than basically anybody else right now. That would not be the case if you walked in and shat on the resolute desk.
