Not an official outing since its so far away but I’m planning to go look for the leucistic Wood Duck on the 8th if anyone wants to join!

The rumors are true! There's a leucistic wood duck near San Diego California and they're a QUEEN! She's riding with mallards, ring ducks, northern shovelers, other wood ducks, and not taking. any. shit!

Gonna be hard to top this bird as my favorite bird of 2025.

Whew- what a month huh? Lets go relax, touch some grass, and stare jealously at the birds who have no idea anything has changed. Binoculars are encouraged but I have a few extras :)
